Hello, I'm Marieke Scholten, originally from The Netherlands. My journey led me away from my homeland 26 years ago to explore the world. In those years, I've been married for 25 of them, explored various career paths, taught for 12 years, raised three children, and called seven different countries home. Now, it seems we're settling in Germany for a while. While I enjoy teaching and would never leave the classroom, my passion lies in evolving into an inspirational educational leader. I am committed to embracing current educational approaches in this ever-changing and evolving world. Currently, I teach Mathematics and Global Perspectives and serve as the Cambridge Coordinator at The International School in Bremen. Over the past five years, my enthusiasm has grown as I've been inspired by the transformative power of coaching in international school settings. My goal is to foster open and empathetic dialogues within my workspace, promoting growth and understanding.
